Štybar Zdenek surprised the sprinters, Bogdanovics 20

The last bit of the race was hard as the road slightly climbed towards the motocircuit Autodromo el Villicum. Many legs were tired by the time getting to the last straights. Deceuninck Quick Step's Zdenek Štybar accelerated 500m to go and got a cap between himself and the bunch. The speed he had was enough as the sprinters couldn't get him back anymore. His teammate Remco Evenepoel is still the leader of the race, tomorrow is the tour's last stage in San Juan.

Maris Bogdanovics (Amore e Vita Prodir) finished 20th, his teammate Viesturs Lukševics 69th and Norman Vahtra (Israel Start Up Nation) 125th.
