Alo Jakin becomes the new coach of the Estonian national junior team

Updated: Jan 3

Alo Jakin had a good season behind him winning Estonian National Championships in road race and finishing second at the European Games road race, but it wasn't enough to secure a new contract. It should be said that his employer, St-Michel-Auber93, made a bid, but it was not large enough for the Estonian to live and compete in France. According to Alo, he has a family to feed and at his age (33) he can no longer afford to live as before and out of a suitcase. Fortunately, EJL offered Alo a job as a junior coach, as Jaan Kirsipuu will continue as the men's coach only, after the spring classics (junior NCup races) in Belgium. "This is definitely an exciting challenge and I'm looking forward to the start of the season," added the former pro from Tartu, who has given his verbal agreement to step up to this position .
