Alo Jakin's untold stories in the first episode of a new podcast, "Cycling Fever"

"Many sports in Estonia already have their podcast, but the most progressive , eco- friendly and fat burner number one, doesn't. The error has now been fixed " introduced Estonia's most known cycling journalist Ivar Jurtšenko.

The Cycling Fever (Jalgrattapalavik in Estonian) will be a weekly podcast and the first guest was the Estonia's best male cyclist 2019, Alo Jakin. Ivar & Alo took a step by step through Alo's sporty history, which included some fun moments with his first coach, the legendary cyclist during Soviet times, Aavo Pikkuus, a life school on the Tour of Bulgaria, difficult times as an amateur in France, and getting the long-awaited pro contract. They also talked about the plans for the future, which are initially related to coaching.

At first, all episodes will be in Estonian for local public, but the future goal for BCC will be to have a podcast in English too.

All cycling enthusiasts can listen to the new episodes every Wendsday in the Estonian Delfi Sport or the day after in here, BCC.

Our goal is to promote and develop road cycling in the Baltic States & Finland.

All written and video material on this site can be used including photos owned by BCC if BalticChainCycling is mentioned.
