Video: Antti Jussi Juntunen 12th in Poreč Trophy

Tartu2024/ riders raced second time this week in Croatia. This time in the 150km long Poreč Trophy (UCI 1.2). The race was won like 3 days ago in Umag-Umag by the Lotto Jumbo Develompent Team rider Olav Kooij. Tartu2024/ riders tried to help Antti Jussi Juntunen today, as the final was on a 1km uphill section. The Finnish rider confirmed after finishing 12th, that he didn't have the same legs as Wendsday and couldn't do better this time around. Klaipeda's Rojus Adomaitis finished 13th. Both guys got beaten by a legend, 48 years old Davide Rebellin, who is still racing in pro peloton.

"I'm pleased with the way guys behave. Twelth place isn't what we want to achieve, but they are young boys and learn a lot during these races, that's the main thing. There were 29 teams at the start, so from another hand, 12th today with Antti and 10th the other day with Rait are correct results to begin with. They aren't far away from the best," explained Tartu2024/'s coach Toms Flaksis.
