Caleb Ewan won the 4th stage of the TDU, Martin Laas 6th

Caleb Ewan (Lotto Soudal) won his second stage from this year's Santos Tour Down Under ahead of Sam Bennett (Deceuninck - Quick Step). The 153km long stage was nervous with some crosswinds and many crashes in the final. Finally almost the half of the riders had lost contact with main field. The route was narrowing down at the end with a hard right turn 300m to go, that's something what Caleb Ewan likes the most and he showed his best acceleration capacity out of that corner. Bora Hansgrohe's Estonian sprinter Martin Laas finished 6th today. He had to take the last corner from the inside and lost his momentum there, but its a ok start for racing at the World Tour level.
