Cortina won the 3rd stage in the Paris-Nice, Neilands 7th in the GC

Ivan Garcia Cortina (Bahrein McLaren) won the third stage of the Paris-Nice ahead of Peter Sagan (Bora Hansgrohe) in a bunch sprint. There were many tired legs in the final and the sprint was chaotic as the stage was very hard and nervous again due to the weather conditions. There were two crashes with some sprinters going down at the end too. Maximilian Schachmann (Bora Hansgrohe) is still leading the GC, but before the hard days to come on the climbs, it looks like Tanel Kangert's (EF Pro Cycling) teammate Sergio Higuita is very well placed to win the GC, he is 5th at the moment. Latvian Krists Neilands (Israel Start Up Nation) is doing a super race too, he was 11th of the stage and is 7th in the GC now. Tanel Kangert climbed today to 18th in the GC and has a super position too before tomorrow's timetrial. He is 1m4s away from the race lead at the moment.
