Kasper Asgreen solo to win Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne

Kasper Asgreen (Deceunicnk Quick Step) did a real number in the final of the Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne (1.Pro) holding off the chasing peloton. The 201km long Belgian classic was held in better conditions than yesterday's Omloop Het Niewsblaad. The race was very active and split into peaces few times already before last real cobbled climb, Oude Kwaremont (60km to go). Finally some groups came together and Asgreen used the moment to go solo and win the race. The fastest guy from the field was Giacomo Nizzolo (NTT Pro Cycling) ahead of Alexander Kristoff (UAE-Team Emirates).

Martin Laas (Bora Hansgrohe) finished 131st, together with Aksel Nõmmela (Bingoal Wallonie Bruxelles) in a big groupetto over 7 minutes after the winner.

Emils Liepinš (Trek Segafredo) din't finish the race.
