Video: Krists Neilands has big goals

Krists Neilands (Israel Start Up Nation) has won some well known semi-classics, GP de Wallonie (1.1) in 2019, Dwars door het Hageland Aarschot (1.1) in 2018, and has had podium places on the shorter stage races - 1st of the Tour of Hungary ( 2.1) in 2019, 3rd of the Arctic Race of Norway (2.HC) in 2019 and 2nd of the Vuelta Asturias Julio Alvarez Mendo in 2019 (2.1). We asked the tall Latvian to tell us which kind of a rider he is. " I'm not sure myself, i haven't really found my speciality yet, i'm a good allrounder i guess. I do like races with some climbs in them," confirmed Krists. His first race of the year will be Tour de la Provence and he wants to target the Strade Bianche and the Tirreno-Addriatico at the beginning of the season. He also told Milano - San Remo to be his favorite race, we all remember Neilands's Poggio attack during the Italian classic in 2018. Neilands didn't want to reveal us his real ambitions for this year, he wants to keep them to himself, as he is a bit modest and we know that he prefers performing first to bragging.

We did ask him also about the "Potato Power", check from the video what he had to say about that.
