Lithuanian sprinters on the podium in the track world cup

Miglė Marozaitė and Simona Krupeckaitė were third in the women's team sprint of the 2019/2020 season's last track world cup in Milton, Canada. In the final session for bronze, they had to beat Mexico. Times respectively 33,562 and 33,604. The cap between the 2 teams was finally just 0,052 seconds. The Team Sprint for women consists of two laps. At first, the leading rider completes one lap of the track, then she drops out leaving second rider to take over for the second lap.

The women's team sprint event was won by Canada ( 33,012) ahead of Poland.
