Quintana took the lead of the tour in the Var & Alpes Maritimes, Kangert 12th

Nairo Quintana (Team Arkea Samsic) showed his strength again, this time on Col d'Eze, winning the second stage of the Tour Cycliste International du Var et des Alpes Maritimes. He took 40 seconds out of the rest of the bunch on the last 4.6km long climb. There were 22 riders in the same time chasing the Colombian climbing star. Tanel Kangert (EF Pro Cyclong) finished 12th and Toms Skujins (Trek Segafredo) 18th. Tanel is now 15th in the GC and Toms 21st. Tomorrow's stage will finish on the top of the famous Mont Faron.
