Remi Cavagna won Faun-Ardeche Classic ahead of Tanel Kangert

The French (1.Pro) 184km long hilly one day race Faun-Ardeche Classic was won by Remi Cavagna (Deceuninck-Quick Step) in hectic weather conditions. He had almost a 3 minute lead in the finish ahead of the race's second Tanel Kangert (EF Pro Cycling). Guillaume Martin (Cofidis, Solutions Credits) was third. Cavagna was one of the riders in the early 5 man breakaway, but distanced others one by one and had to go solo for the last 40km.

One of the guys in the breakaway was Lithuania's Evaldas Šiškevicius (Nippo Delko One Provence), but after getting dropped from Cavagnas wheel, he lost the momentum and didn't finalliy finish the race. There were only 43 riders, who managed to finish this hard classic with hard climbs and cold rain.
