Second stage in a row for Molano, Bogdanovics 14th

Juan Sebastian Molano (UAE-Team Emirates) won the third 177km long stage of the Tour of Colombia in a bunch sprint ahead of Edwin Avila (Israel Start Up Nation) and Jose Alvaro Hodeg (Deceuninck Quick Step). Top 5 riders were Colombians, they are used to the high altitude riders have to face during the tour. Today's stage was constantly over 2400m today with the highest peak on 2889m altitude (Alto Tierra Negra). Jonathan Klever Caicedo from EF Pro Cycling is still holding the leader's jersey ahed of his 3 teammates Higuito, Martinez and Van Garderen.

Latvian sprinter Maris Bogdanovics (Amore & Vita Prodir) finished 14 today, his teammate Viesturs Lukševics finished in the main field too, on 87th position. Joonas Henttala (Team Novo Nordisk) came in with a grupetto on 129th position 22m21s seconds down.
