Tartu2024/BCC confirmed their participation in the Baltic Track Championships

The first race of the year for the riders of the Tartu2024/ continental team won't be on the road, but on the track. The U23 development team confirmed that they will prepare seriously for the Baltic Track Championships omnium race on the occasion of three two-day training camps on the track of the Cido Arena in Panevežys. "Riding on the track is the perfect way to get some speed into the legs before the real road calendar starts," declared their sprinter Rait Ärm.

The Baltic Track Championships will take place in the Cido Arena, Panevežys on the 8th & 9th February.

Baltic Track Championship's events:

Junior, U17 (men and women): omnium, sprint, scratch, keirin.

Elite (men and women): scratch, omnium, points race, sprint, team sprint, keirin.

Last year Cycling Tartu prepared for the road season on the track too. Their team leader Norman Vahtra finished 10th in the European Game's omnium race and won 8 UCI second category races.
