Yates Adam took the lead in the UAE Tour, Hänninen 25th

Adam Yates (Mitchelton Scott) won the 184km long third stage of the UAE Tour and took the lead in the GC ahead of Tadej Pogačar (UAE- Team Emirates), who was also second on the stage finishing in the top of the 10km long climb Jebel Hafeet. Yates dominated the stage putting a minute and three seconds into Pogačar and 1m30s into Alexey Lutsenko (Astana pro Team). Finland's Jaakko Hänninen (Ag2r La Mondiale) finished 22nd on the stage and is 25th in the GC now.

There are still 4 stages to go, most of them flat, but the 5th stage will finish on the top of Jebel Hafeet again.
